What is your favorite brand?

Great points about Griot's, not to mention they make really good stuff, just wish they'd step up with some new stuff like WOWA sealants, rinseless wash and paint coatings. That said, their customer service is TOP NOTCH!

Its hard for me nail down just one so instead of naming a couple I'll pass.

Sonax Full Effect, Anything Menzerna ( I think this is sorta like your first good Chinese restaurant or Pizza place, you get used to it and how well it works and you compare everything else to it) Adam's APC. I could list more.
HUMP

1. HD/3D
2. Optimum
3. Meguiar's

If I had to choose any of these three lines exclusively for my business, I could still do amazing work.

I know it's probably not going to happen, but I really with AG would carry the HD lineup. They really are excellent products. :(

If i had only 1 to choose from? It would be Chemical Guys because they have everything.

As far as favorite?- DoDo Juice

If price was no object, it would be either Pinnacle or Wolfgang. Even with price an object I have stocked up on quite a bit of both of those brands lately (counting Pinnacle XMT).

Meguiars is a solid company with solid products, hard to argue that choice.

As a non pro enthusiast my favorite is Wolfgang. I also really like DP. I've never had anything from Poorboy's that let me down either. And although I like a lot of CG stuff they are too hit or miss to just be in love with them and they have soooo many products that overlap each other it's hard to tell them apart.

Non pro. Meguiar. Cost/benefit. I dont have machine or pads but i will buy griots

Hi-Temp has some really nice products at a good price and they are easy to work with. My only problem with Hi-Temp is that they still cary too many silicone based products so you have to watch them or stick to their body shop safe line.

I've been slowly switching over to Blackfire. I really love a lot of their products and I feel a bit more confidence with their product research programs over Hi-Temp. I guess you can call it the big name, big money security plan.

1. Best all around for price and options is Meguiar's

2. Wolfgang / Pinnacle tied for second - very good products can be a bit pricey.

3. DP good product line just not as good as Wolfgang or Pinnacle

Meg's wide range and cost effective.
Auto finesse, nice products, work well expensive but won't break the bank. Dodo waxes are a favorite also. Rupes polishers and I'm looking to try more of the HD line besides polish.

If I had to stick with one brand it would be Poorboys. They offer a great line of products at really great prices. I have never tried a Poorboys product that I was not happy with. I use other brands but if I had to pick only one it would be Poorboys!

Chemical Guys because they have everything. They are not my favorite though, but if you limit it down brands who have clay or clay alternatives, coatings, interior cleaners, etc. chemical guys is one of the few that has it all.

I notice when reading through the forums you guys use multiple types of products not just one "brand". For example using all of the Meguiars products or Griots garage.
Mike always says use what works.
My question is if you only had one whose brand would it be?

It is going to be hard to name just one brand. There aren't very many such brands that manufacture everything one needs to perform a complete end to end detail job. So perhaps this should be broken down by product type.

How many brands manufacture each and every type of car detailing product?

These come to mind:

Chemical Guys
Pinnacle
Wolfgang
Meguiars
Swissvax
Griot's Garage
Poorboys

who else?

Off the top of my head:
Chemical Guys and Griot's Garage do not manufacture "each and every type of car detailing product"!!

So perhaps this should be broken down by product type.

^^^How about this suggestion, OP?^^^

That's why I'll always choose Meguiar's as my favorite brand.
There are quite a few folks that are on the same wave length.
