Which Wash Mitt or Wash Pad are you using?

I use the Aqua sponge for my rinseless washes when I don't need to do the GD method.

Sent from my SPH-M930 using AG Online

I like the chennile mitts mostly but also use merino wool mitts.

Lots of options. I have seen the big sponges with handles on them. Looks kind of scary to me but the AGO folks say they are good.

I use the Griots mitt. I use it with rinseless washes.

Microfiber Madness Incredimitt.

All I can say about it is it just works better than the chenille mitts. The chenille mitts have voids in them between the dreads. These voids make the mitt grab a bit more, and I notice the dreads tend to get caught in trim crevices or body panels. There is no such problem with the Incredimitt.

It's so thick and plush that I think it helps hold wash water and makes the mitt glide across the paint smoother. It also gets in the nooks and crannies much better than my chenille mitts from CG and pep boys.

It truly is remarkable. Hard to describe but, this mitt coupled with the Optimum Car Wash Soap I just got makes the mitt feel like its on an air hockey table moving across the vehicle.

I thought the old chenille mitts and soap (maxi suds II) I used before we're plenty fine, I can truly feel a difference with my new setup. It's like game changing different. I'm pretty sure this combo is going to substantially reduce the love marks I've been putting in my ride.

Wow, that Microfiber Madness Incredimitt looks awesome.

Chenille MF mitts are what I use for traditional washes the majority of the time. I do have some meguiar's sponges that I use once in a blue moon as well.

Schmitts of various ages and condition and a new Lake country wash wedge. I like both.

I have been using the Incredimitt for the past 6 months or so. I like it more and more every time I use it! It is holding up very well. I still keep micro chenille mitts around for lower panels and wheels.

How do you take care of it? Do you just wash it with your other microfibers after every wash?

Yep. I wash it after every other use with paint safe towels. The Incredimitt also dries faster than chenelle mitts.

Cool thanks :xyxthumbs:

Looks like I'll be getting one of these once the snow clears.

I use the Audi OEM wash mitt. It is the best one I've used so far and it was only $6.00 from the dealer.

I like the Chenille mitts. Keep new ones on hand as well as several different used ones, as they get more used the move from the top (paint duty) to the bottom, (dirty duty). ;)

Do have an uber expensive Merino mitt, but afraid to use it!
