This weekend at Autogeek I decided to dedicate my Saturday working on my Subaru BRZ. After an hour of washing and decontaminating the car it was time to apply a wax. Since the garage was being used I had to do the rest of the detail outside lucky for me it was there was no rain in sight. Before applying a wax I decided to use Pinnacle Black Label Surface Cleansing Polish to remove anytime of dirt or road film that might be on the paint. After reading about SON1CS Carnaubavore I decided I wanted to try his newest Creation the Wax Merry Waxmas Set. The SON1C Wax Merry Waxmas Set is a two step process where you use the white wax first and follow it up with the red wax. When applying both of the waxes I used the new Rupes LHR 75E Mini Random Orbital Polisher with the 4 inch White Finishing Foam Pad. When applying the White wax it goes on very thin I did the entire hood and a fender without having to reapply wax to the pad.

I let the white wax dry to a haze before removing it. Since Son1c recommends using a Quick detailer decided I would use Pinnacle Crystal Mist Carnauba Detail Spray which is one of favorite detail sprays. With the help of the Pinnacle Crystal Mist Carnauba Detail Spray and Gold Plush Jr. Microfiber Towel I was able to effortlessly remove the wax.

Once the White Wax was removed I waited 20 minutes before topping it with the red wax. When I was Applying the red wax it was really soft and went farther than the white wax did. Once the wax was dried to a haze I used the Pinnacle Crystal Mist Carnauba Detail Spray with the Gold Plush Jr. Microfiber Towel to remove it leaving behind a blinding shine.

After the car was totally wiped down I was blown away by the results and could not stop smiling. I have to say I was very impressed with powerful and smooth the Rupes LHR 75E Mini Random Orbital Polisher was. If you are looking for a wax that is going to give you that WOW factor then I recommend trying SON1C Wax Merry Waxmas Set.

You did a great job on the subie brz. The waxmas wax really
made that blue color pop. Drew @ son1c wax really has done
a great job so far creating some great waxes.:xyxthumbs:

Dang it!!! Now I want a Rupes mini.

I have the Merry Waxmas which smells ridiculously good but have yet to put it to good use (been raining like crazy down here).

Bryan, the results are FANTASTIC! Great write up! Thanks for sharing

Amazing results! Cant wait to try my Son1c wax out now. Need to really consider getting this set too after seeing that...

Fantastic results!

If it was warm enough to wax my car, I'd probably have this set on the way. I just might have to get myself a Christmas present...or two ;)

Looks great Bryan but it's not going to stay clean if you keep burning rubber.

Ray when did you learn to drive a stick and are you sure that was from the tires and not the clutch? I wondered what that burning smell was.

Thanks for taking the time to put this together Bryan. I'm happy to hear that you have enjoyed the unique wax set! Tempting me with that mini rupes too.. Excellent work as always :xyxthumbs:

Also, love the car!

ROFL!!!! That is "ghost riding" at its best!!

NO DRIVER!

Im the MAN The less evidence of any horsing around, the better. They're already getting suspicious with all of the single tire burnout marks around the parking lot.

Hey guy's I have a little update I washed my car over the weekend and could not believe the way the it was shedding the water. Here are some pictures showing he action!:xyxthumbs:
