Duragloss Rinseless Wash: Weird Issue

That's it, Bunky!! Only mine was way worse and white looking. It too cleared right up after I took it inside. I love Optimum Car Wash...ooohh that smell.

I have two bottles of Duragloss that are/were exactly like that.

I can't say I've ever had that issue, I bet you could send it back to DG directly for a replacement, maybe they'll even send you two bottles, worth a shot.

DG rinseless is my favorite rinseless wash!

I spoke to Duragloss about this, and they said that the first batch of this particular product used a dye that turned out to be incompatible with the formulation.

Duragloss did not issue a recall or any sort because this does not affect the performance of the product.

Hm. I'll have to check for this. I just used DG Rinseless w/ Aquawax for the first time yesterday and loved it. Easy to remove. No streaking and left a great shine (has CG Blacklight on it already).

I usually move all my chemicals inside when it's going to start dropping below 45ish. My house faces North which doesn't help either

Good information, Nick. Thank you.

If that's what Duragloss told you, then I'd disagree because for those of us that have these bottles it's just a tad unhandy, though it's still not that big of a deal.

While it may be true that it doesn't affect the products cleaning ability it does interfere with rinsing and drying and my photo's are proof of that. If this bottle of product will smear inside my wash bucket and on my mitts and then leave little red things all over the car, then I'd have to say the performance has been altered if you define good performance as good cleaning ability and easy drying. Performance in allowing you to simply wash, then dry, without having to search for little red specks.

That said, I know what to look for now and I won't mind taking a bit of extra time rinsing and wiping all of those specs off. I plan on using my entire bottle of product and look forward to a new bottle that does not have the issue. Again, as I stated earlier I wasn't that worried about...nothing to get my feathers ruffled over...just wanted to show some pics of what happened to hopefully find out if others have had the same issue and apparently they have.

Thanks again for the information, Nick. AG service at it's finest.
