I was talking with my sister the other day and she was talking about naming her truck, the more people I talk to I'm finding this is quite common! I've been thinking for a name for mine but haven't come up with anything haha

What's your vehicles name?

No, and thusly I have retained my man card.

:D

Kidding, of course - but I really don't..

I did. But nothing different.

My mazda 3. I say the mazda
My mitsu mirage. I say the mirage
My nx2000. The nx
My fto. The fto
Another mirage i called it the green (because it was green lol) and some other by color or caracteristic. Never by name..

Maybe you did not ask for this :D

Haha a lot of guys I know with muscle cars name them girl names and refer to their car as the name. "Gonna pull the heads off Cindy tomorrow"

I just say "the Genesis" but heard of others calling it "Genny"

My g35 was called "Infiniti" or "The G".. back in my cocky days.

Oh and for those who wonder, the Genesis is a 10x better car than my g35 was..

lol funny thing but I do. i call my truck whitey since its white. I call my wife suv snowwhite since its white as well.

I don't name all my cars but in my home town back in Oregon I was the first guy with a daily driver with 44" Swampers when these tires were first introduced and it was big.

Note it's a full convertible and that's a 2-ton Military transfercase hanging down under the center of the truck.

Bad 59

If you look closely you can see the license plate read Bad 59. This is one of the 1959 Caddies I've owned in my life and the only one I stuffed a 454 into.

My neighbors of course keep all their brand new cars in their nice, clean and neat garages, not me. The poles in the below pictures belong to my 16' tall A-Frame Engine Puller that always looks nice in out in front of our house. :D

My son always called this the Cherry Truck and yes that's snow in December in the Mojave Desert and I left the top off year around.

We just called the Milk Truck the Milk Truck...

But we did get custom plates that read,

66 Milk

We called the 1959 Cadillac Flattop the "Creampuff" as it only had 50,000 miles on it when we bought it and it was a true creampuff.

This of course was Jimmy...

I haven't given my new truck a name, I'm not really fond of red paint nor do I like Big Red for a name or the gum...

That's the short list while I sit here and have my lunch...

Gotta love the old school 44's, had a friend in High School with a Toyota on 44 inch Fun Country"s, no power steering

No.

I didn't even name some of the cats I have hanging around. I called these three feral kittens 1, 2, and 3. And I've been taking care of them for 15 years.

Got a 99 Land Cruiser I call "Elsie". Say it quick and it sounds like the letters "L" - "C".

Yes. The cars I have owned have been Cindy, Susie, Sarah, and Sally. My truck is Black Bart.

NO!!!

This seems to be a "MINI thing" and when I owned one never did such a thing. Now of Fuely I was asked to name my current car and came up with JAWS since it looks like a shark w/ its big grill and color and its radio fin.

Sorta. I call my SUV "The People Mover". As I used to find it amusing people would buy this huge SUVs that sat like 10 people and only one person would be in it. Somehow my GF & I started calling SUVs "People Movers".

Then I bought an SUV because of a horrible winter we had 2 yrs ago. I needed something that was 4x4 and the Pathfinder was cheap and reliable.

Now I drive a People Mover.

Only in America.

The BMW has no name. Maybe "M. Roadie".

No..
No names of any kind for our vehicles...including:
-Prefixes
-Proper Names
-Simple (Nor: Compound) Names
-Surnames
-Nicknames
-etc.

However...
We...quite often...must use a super-abundance of adjectives.

Which stands for "Piece of S--T"

My vote is 'Klinger' because of the nose on that car.

I don't really name my cars or bikes. My mom and stepdad do though. They have a Mazda CX-5, the "econo car", a Mazda MX-5, the "fun car", and a Honda Ridgeline, the "Boat puller". And yes- that's how they refer to them! "I'm gonna take the fun car to work today", etc.
