Its a nickname for my home state, we are either waving HI or BYE:p

I got 38.1 mpg coming in this morning, hate all the traffic going through Indiana but what can you do.

Btw Monica had a modded R53 playing "door tag" with me on what's called "the Autobahn" here in metro Detroit, aka I-696, lots of fun, nothing too serious but I liked it:cool:

As far as the run goes, well, according to Derek's weather app, it looks like Thursday is ok, but Friday has a 40% chance of rain and Sat is 80% of T-storms, sucks:thumbdown:

We'll make the best of it though!

Sorry, I had to post that

The new whip has a "fuel consumption" gauge.... :dunno:
It's either at 40 when I'm coasting, or at, like 20 when I'm on the gas :right on:

You should have showed up that MINI LOL

I know you will still have fun and make the best of it... just stay safe Roger.

I expected to see this inperson while I was in town, Monica, you might have pulled the trigger a little soon....maybe:p

I would ofcoarse opt for the 2.3L Ecoboost but inperson the car is stunning, looks "non-American"

Will it make you feel worse knowing I have special pricing with Ford?

Well you obviously knew about the new Stang when making your decision and besides, you know what they say about first years cars anyways. I'm completely BLOWN AWAY with how the car looks, they combined retro w/o looking retro, if that makes any sense;)

On the other hand your car looks flowing, is NOT iin its 1st year of production and is kinda of rarity now that the turbo isn't being made anymore. Besides that, you really like it and I can tell you that that's all that matters!

Well its 3:41 a.m. and its time to get in the shower and hit the road:cool:

I'm texting from a traffic jam near Dayton Ohio! I do appreciate the heads up on the traffic jam though Bob but could you send a helicopter down here on I 75 and pick up my car and drop it off I say the other side of the bridge south of Cincinnati please!

So we had our run and the weather ended up being better than predicted but not what we've spoiled with over the years, that's for sure. Got to see some new roads too, like The Foothills Parkway, route 73, 321 and 441, the latter had tunnels, one was pretty long and I nailed the gas in there, just couldn't help myself:p I had a series of people blowing their horns after I did it too, a "DB move", probably but I don't do anything else like that and it was for my own amusement anyways!

We had heavy fog on the Skyway:

Because of the weather I didn't do a single rinseless or touch-free, but that's ok. That said, just look at my car, LOL!

Monica, I'm sure you've seen this part on the tree, look closely:eek:

Oh no doubt... There are a lot of MINI parts in that tree.
Hell, in the 3 years I went down there 2 friends totaled their cars

If you don't mind me asking, are they ok? Also, how did they do this:confused:

Yes they are both fine...

One was driving too fast at night in the rain on Hellbender, the other was pulling out of a side street and got broad-sided.

I actually drove the Dragon on dampened roads as well as in the rain this weekend, the words FAST, WET and DRAGON were never used in the same sentence when describing how I drove it:sly:

Where is there a side street on the Dragon, is it like the road where the Batmobile came out of:confused:

I'm glad they were both ok, I've always worried about the people in our group as some of them are "hotdogs" but do know how to handle their cars but still, "Captain Slow" is always concerned.

Side street was off of another road  but I bet the Dragon would make a goof spot for the Bat Lair :dblthumb2:

Yeah, when people are dumb and too cocky, that's when accidents happen down there.
