Are Speed Settings The Same On All Polishers

These are the speed settings on the PC 7424XP.

• 5.0 to 6.0 to remove defects
• 3.0 to 4.0 to apply and spread a layer of wax or a paint sealant
• 5.0 to 6.0 to remove dried wax or paint sealant using a microfiber bonnet

What would the settings be for the Griots Garage 6" Random Orbital Polisher? I'm guessing more info is out there on the PC 7424XP because its been around longer.

They are all the same. Don't believe it! I can light my whole house with a 1 watt light bulb as well.

Are these the only two polishers, whose speed settings you are wanting to compare?

There are also those polishers, whose "speeds" are listed by RPM's.
(And I don't mean specifically just the rotary polishers.)
