I am in the process of giving my car an exterior detail and have a question regarding combining Klasse AIO with Klasse SG and/or P21S Concours carnauba wax. I started with a clay bar, then went straight to applying Klasse AIO since the paint was in great shape and didn't really need polishing. Now I am wondering if I should follow that with both a coat of Klasse SG and a coat of P21S wax. This is my first time using the AIO, so I am not sure if following it with the SG would be redundant (doesn't the AIO have sealant in it?), or if I should just skip straight to the wax. Is there still benefit in applying a layer of the Klasse SG AND finishing with P21S wax? Last year I polished the car with Menzerna SF4000, then did a coat of Klasse SG, then 2 coats of P21S wax. But for some reason the results weren't as great as I was expecting (not as glossy?), maybe I put the sealant or wax on too thick or something. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Definitely follow AIO with SG. The famous Klasse Twins! I clay use AIO then follow with 3 coats of SG. 12 hours between coats. I then follow with 2 coats of Collinite 845 the next day. I love the way my car looks. There is plenty of info on the AG forum about these products. I've also seen great application posts on line. Just Google it and remember to apply the SG THIN!

AIO, KSG, wait at least 11-24 hrs n then put another coat of Klasse KSG on wait another few days and do it one more time. Then send me some pics. U will love it! After all that if u still want to wax u can.

Ok, sounds good. Has anyone tried using a buffer to apply or remove the SG? I've only done it by hand, but I do have a PC 7424XP I could use. Any difference in the results between hand or machine application?

sorry to thread jack op but I'm about to go through the same process just with different products. Clay, AF tripple, then I was thinking 845 or 476. My question is how well will the collinite wax last when it's the topper and not the only thing sticking to the paint? I want maximum protection but I also want to use tripple's glaze/polish abilities as well

Because the SG is so thin and you apply so little, I wouldn't use a machince.

The last time around I contemplated using a machine for applying the SG, but I couldn't imagine it going very well. I just dug out the MF applicators and did it by hand like I have for years.

I did apply the AIO by machine, but I'm not sure I'll do that again. I was able to spread it out much more evenly by machine, but I had a hard time keeping it thin enough without running the pad dry.

I also tried applying the AIO with a machine on a few panels and ran into the same issues as you. I had a few spots where the product dried out and I had to spray a little QD to remove. I get the feeling the SG will do the same thing. Think I'll stick with hand application for now.

EVERYONE SHOULD LISTEN TO YOU ! perfectly said exactly right 12=24 hrs twice then wait a few days then again !!!!!!!!!! finally someone got it right !!!!
