Unless youre actually polishing the car, an ipa wipedown isnt necessary. You perform the wipedown to remove polishing oils and fillers from the paint to make sure that when you coat, or wax, or seal, the surface is as clean as possible

And how high or I guess low is the risk of damage to the paint or clear? You hear people using all sorts of concentrations from straight out of the bottle to as low as 11 or 12% IPA. Do all concentrations work as well, can one accomplish and get the same results with a pure 70% IPA as you would with a 50% cut with water and brought down closer to 10%?
