So while that fire sale was on with GG wheel cleaner, I purchased a ton of them. One of the stores didn't hold 2 bottles for me which was equal to 4 dollars. I called AA to complain and they are sending me a $15 gift card. Although I'm not completely satisfied, I am good with it. So now I wonder what I can get from there that's equal to 15. I was thinking some MF towels or brushes for interior. Any suggestions on what I should crush this 15 on??

It sucks you cant use AA gift card online, because there are always coupon codes for $40 off of $100, so essentially, you would only have to spend $45 of your own money to to get $100 worth of stuff.

With lots of Wintertime remaining...
I'll suggest a good set of wiper blade replacement inserts,
for when your current ones begin to: Fray, Flag, and Frag.

Wow really?! After you bought a ton of them already you really called to complain about 2 that you didnt get?

Does anyone else see anything wrong this type of mentality?

And then they give you a $15 gift card on top of that? How about you show some integrity and return that gift card to them instead of bragging about on the forums!

Sounds like poor customer service from the store to me. I would have been upset too if that happened. I'm glad you have more integrity than us. :nomore:

I agree. I used to work at an auto parts store chain. Its their job to do simple tasks like holding products. However what the most likely scenario was that their quantity on the computer was wrong compared to the actual quantity on hand. AA did him good, other stores wouldnt do the same.

Integrity means doing what's right. If you ordered a product, went 30 mins from your home to pick it up and the store says they have sold it because their policy is to not hold on to the product you ordered, when in fact, it is their policy. Furthermore, when the stores manager is rude to you and and offers no rational solution for selling a product that was purchased already, and didn't even offer a refund after saying "I wouldn't want to have given you these at the price you paid anyway" yeah there is a reason to complain about it.

Judgemental much? 13 years of Army service. 5 deployments. Well decorated. Integrity is in my blood. And yes I'm bragging about that too

Thank you for your service, from a current active duty Soldier. Hooah!

AA should've said upfront that they don't/can't hold products, the $15.00 is compensation for your time and effort, I think that's fair.

Thanks to both of you for your service too!

I agree with you, but I hope you can understand this. I was with the other guy until you posted this info. You didn't include this info in the original post which the other guy posted about. I'm sure if he knew this info he wouldn't question your integrity. No need to get all mad and start boasting about what you have done. A simple, "heres the rest of the details" would have sufficed. I thank you for your service from someone that comes from a family of servicemen.

Understood. I wasn't expected to come off as a glutton or selfish person. In starting a company and need everything I can get at the best prices possible.

Stating my service is to quell any doubts of my integrity, although I know there are bad and selfish folks in the service as well
