FLEX Swirl Finder Light

Just posted in AGO store

"The FLEX Swirl Finder Light utilizes a 3-watt LED bulb that is able to illuminate swirl marks, spider web scratches, water spots, and other gloss-hindering paint imperfections."

At least some of these companies are seeing the need in the market for lighting solutions. Its about time really. Waiting for a company to start up specializing in appearance industry lighting.

We've done A LOT of testing with the FLEX Swirl Finder Light...it's very, very good.

Stay tuned for a review from either myself or Mike Phillips. :dblthumb2:

So now the question .. Rupes or flex swirlfinder light?

I could do a LOT of testing and post a review myself if there were to be one of those lights that magically appeared in my next shipment

.... and could provide a comparison to the Brinkmann which I own, my 200 lumen headlamp, my 1000w halogens, and the T8 fluorescent lights of my shop.... and possible the Rupes light if it fell from Mike's desk in the box with the Flex while on its way to the shipping department :dblthumb2:

The Rupes is "Smoother", but only works on flat surfaces

Couldn't an LED Mag lite or even the led on my iPhone work just the same? I think so

Too bad the full specs are not listed. I started using a cree XML2-u3 led chip running on 18650 li-ion batteries. Puts out 1300 China lumens or about 600 real lumens. This new one looks nice but without knowing what's under the hood, it's hard to know what it's really worth! The only info they give is 3 watts... so probably an older cree q3 or q5 chip good for 150-230 lumens max... just a guess
