Hey guys remember me?

I was the very fortunate forum member to make the one millionth post to the Autogeek Online forum. And as a result I won a thousand dollar gift certificate to my favorite online store in the whole wide world ... Autogeek.net :D

Now as much as I'd like to spend all that money on myself, I didn't feel like that would be the right thing to do. It certainly wouldn't be in the spirit of the Autogeek community. No joke ... this forum is amazing. There's so little drama compared to most other forums that I'm on and seems like all the members here are helpful and willing to help out one another. Whether it be in the form of free advice or giving out samples for others to try. Anyone who's been a member of this forum for even a short while knows what I'm talking about.

And don't even get me started on the staff here at Autogeek!! Seems like every time I turn around they're giving away more awesome stuff to the members here! And a thousand dollar gift certificate?!!! Seriously who does that?:dblthumb2:

So enough with all the bla bla bla!!! :D

I picked up a bottle of Pinnacle Black Diamond Paint coating on my last order as well as a 32 oz bottle of DP prep polish to give away.



Entry is simple. Just make a quick reply in this thread. Tell me what vehicle you would like to apply this coating to. I will select the first winner. After that person coats their vehicle it will be up to them to pick the next winner. Then they pick the next one and so on and so on. They claim you can coat up to 15 vehicles with this one bottle of paint coating. I'd really like to see at least 8 people get the chance to try this coating out.

Now you might be wondering how winners should be selected? I think it would be cool if you picked a member who may have helped you out in the past. Whether they gave you advice on a thread you posted in or a thread that you dug up while trying to resolve some problem you may have encountered. Or maybe someone who writes good reviews or makes you laugh. Basically I'd like this to go out to someone who's contributed to the forum in a positive member.

So without further ado ... who wants them some Pinnacle Black Diamond Paint Coating?!! :awesome:

I would coat my Silver 2011 Hyundai Sonata.
 
I would like to coat my dads new Camry, that paint could use some protection from these nj winters
 
I would correct and coat my 2006 Dodge Ram with inferno red crystal paint.

I would use it on my wife's 2013 Avalon and would pay it forward by purchasing a bottle of WDGPS and sending it to the next winner of my choosing should I be chosen in the first place. So the next winner will be receiving whatever dpk20x sends as well as a bottle of WDGPS from me! :-)

After re-reading the original post, I realized that I misunderstood the rules of the giveaway. As such, I am going to bow out of this one as I didn't realize that the same package will be shipped to multiple recipients. As much as I would be interested in trying the PBL, I would rather see multiple others benefit from the giveaway. :-)
 
I am not in as I live too close to the GEEK and it would not be fair but great idea and good luck to the recipients.:buffing:
 
I have the PBL coating so don't need to be in the contest, but just wanted to say how cool it is of you to do this. Class act for sure.

I'll pass. Maybe sounds great, I have those products on hand, hence no interest.

I suggest not doing such, too much pressure on other members, sending a measly little bottle across country, subject to temp extremes along its merry way, expecting folks, who have day to day issues to follow through, how much will be used?

Half my bottle of DP is gone, and I think I coated the Kia junkmobile once.
And then used on some porch lights I rattle can sprayed, and a couple other miniscule dipwad projects.

"Give" the products away to another member you like. Like I've found here, that gratitude will most likely come back 5 fold.

Hey no need to back out. Matter of fact this is the sort of selfless attitude that I like to see around here :xyxthumbs:

Hey I definitely get what you're saying. And I truly have my doubts as to whether or not this idea will work out or not. I've seen several similar threads fizzle out and die in the past. Official Pay it Forward Thread for instance. I do realize that after I send the first package out everything is out of my hands and its up to everyone else to keep this thing alive.

But with that said I wanted to extend this giveaway to multiple individuals and not just one. This was the best idea I was able to come up with to make it happen.

This was my train of thought as well. Freezing temperatures will takes it toll somewhere along their journey.

Thank you! I've always maintained that if I were to receive a "gift" from AG or anyone on the forum that I would automatically pay it forward! I would feel guilty any other way! I'm lucky enough to have wonderful parents, a great wife and kids, my health, and a decent family income and I'm thankful beyond words for all of it! :-)
