What are you going to detail this weekend?

Assuming the weather holds out, I plan to semi-detail the underside of my truck. I am going to drop the spare tire and scrub and dress it. Then I hope to take some opc and my wheel well brush and have a go at the entire underside. You know, the more you clean, the more you find to clean.

:)

Beauty there Mike. :dblthumb2:
I received a call today from the owner who owns a 2010 e550, I was suppose to detail his car after I did his truck a couple months back but then I fell ill so I postponed it, surely I thought he had found someone else but come to find out he's waiting on me.
While on the phone he asked if I wanted to do a 32' boat of his , I'm like oh wow, hold up let's get the car first:)

I really want to have this car under my belt, sort of like being on my resume.
His car is steel blue.

This gentlemen is a business man and knows a lot of people, really want to give him my best so I need another week to improve after a surgical procedure I had just yesterday.

You know I need to do the same, takes a lot of willpower to do it though:)

I have a 2013 Chevy Silverado and a 2013 Hyundai Veloster lined up for this weekend. The forecast is finally showing clear and sunny sky's in the lower 80's, it'll be nice to finally detail in non freezing temps.

Five Star Interior Detail

So I couldn't detail the interior two weeks ago on the RAV4 because my wife took the car while I slept in:(
Well I'll do it this weekend:dblthumb2:

I plan on cleaning all plastics then dress them but not sure just yet.
I'll disinfect everything using Spray Nine, this stuff kills more germs than most other disinfectants plus it's an amazing cleaner , nothing it won't clean.

Clean all seats, carpets, mats.
I want to really clean all interior glass, for that I'll be using DirteX Multi-Surface Cleaner, this stuff really removes anything that may be on the glass and leaves a nice gloss but I'll follow it by polishing using D151 all by hand.
After all plastics are super clean, yeah I want to remove any dressing and get down to the plastic itself and do a good job to get it ready for a new dressing , I think I'll use the Carpro Perl this time.

Polish the instrument panel clear plastic, again using the D151.
Clay all painted areas, door jambs, etc then polish using the Meguiar's 205 then seal it all with the DP Poly Opti-Coat Paint Sealant.

Every square inch of the interior will be detailed, I do this ever time this time of year, yeah it will take the better part of the day but it will be worth it:dblthumb2:

What plans do you have detail related?

Have fun in whatever you do, let's post some before and afters please:dblthumb2:

Probably my rode bike (Trek Madone) since we still have snow melt here.

Anyone into the "hellaflush" style?

While I like an aggressive stance, this has never been my favorite. Either way, I'm looking forward to working on it... this vehicle will be corrected and coated with CQuartz UK. I will have a full write up on it in the near future!

Yea, I don't understand that look at all, looks ridiculous to me..but to each their own.

Looking forward to the write up, I haven't worked on one of the twins yet so curious how the correction goes!

I'm hoping to detail my C250. Remove all protection, ironx, tar removal, clay, bfcs, and 476s. I need to pull the wheels to decontaminate and protect them as well.

This weekend I am hoping to work on my wife's '05 Subaru Forester. It's been neglected so this will be a multi-weekend project. This weekend will be all interior work: carpet, upholstery, headliner, and all other interior surfaces.

If I have time, I'm going to vacuum out my Mustang and possibly start deep cleaning (i.e. steam) the leather seats.

I'm gonna detail my front flower bed

But I will probably try and wash the truck, decontaminate the paint, clay and get some wax on the poor thing. It got a lot of hard use this crappy winter.

It will be my first attempt using the deironizer :xyxthumbs:

First detail of the year Saturday, temperature have finally climbed over freezing here in Montréal.

Gonna be a 1998 Yellow Porshe Boxter. Full interior detail plus 1 step polish and sealant application. Full day of work for me.

This weekend I have scheduled a 2014 BMW 328i M Sport (Going from dealership straight to me) for swirl removal (we know it'll have some, it's blue) and sealant.

Then a Toyota 4Runner for full detail, swirl removal and sealant application (expect it to be an 8 hour job or so)
