Ok so I am looking at purchasing a new DA buffer as I lost my old one... yes lost it. What happened when your nice and loan your stuff out to friends. So anyway, I used to use a lamb wool pad for both applying and removing wax, compund. Now I see all these different colors and it gets confusing to some degree.

I have a 2000 Camaro SS, and a 2010 IS250 which are in awesome condition. But with the snow and SALT crazy towns there is a ton of salt buildup.

I will use this mostly for waxing (Maybe White Pad) applying polishes, cleaner waxes (Blue PAD) and maybe the occasional cutting of a friends car or family members car.

Do you guys have any ideass on which pads are best? Really appreciate your answers and assistance.

And one last question, I see a bunch of different products on the site for waxing. What would you consider the best one and have you every used Zaino ?

A couple of things to consider

- When I first purchases my PC7424XP - I picked up Lake Country Orange, White, Black and Blue CCS Pads.
60% of these failed on me so I upgraded to Buff and Shine pads. No issues so far.

- What kind of pads do you want to use? Mainly polishing? Waxing? Glazing?
Orange for cutting, white for polishing, blue/black for waxing/glazing.

I've used every product from Zaino, absolutely love the results but it does get to be a bit expensive.
I've picked up a Duragloss kit to compare the two. About 1/8 the price of Zaino too, lol.

I think I will use the polishing and waxing ones the most I tend to wax my rides like once every 2 weeks in the summer time. But after the winter we have had on the East coast this year I really want to clean the paint of all the salt thats on there. Before Zaino, I used to use Mothers exclusively.

Ok so I made my purchase tonight after doing a bunch of research. I bought the PC7424XP, Wolfgang paint sealant, and polish enhancer. Can't wait for the brown truck to arrive and a nice warm day. I'll reply back either here or in a new post with some pics. I have used Zaino products for the last 10 years and felt like trying something new...

I had the best luck with MF pads for cutting when using the PC. You will definitely benefit from a low profile pad of some type whether is a MF or the low profile hydrotechs.
