Thinking about trading in the CR-Z for a Fiat 500 Abarth, thoughts?

Well I finally got my winter set up on yesterday. I will post a pic of the car when I clean it up but it looks "weird" with the stock wheels on it as I'm so used to it with the red, 5 spokes. I did apply different center caps to the stock wheels to give it a different look, they were also $40 compared to $80 for the stock ones but they are a genuine Fiat item, so these were a plus also. I could've just taken the ones out of the red wheels but because they're plastic the less I take them in and out the better.

Like I said, pics coming when I clean the car up again, stay "tuned" 🇮🇹

LOL funny how we get used to the "look" of our summer set up.

I would have gotten different center caps as well... it will preserve the summer ones :dblthumb2:

As it sits this morning...ah the melting! You can see the new center caps here, black instead of red. Gives the wheel a different look, subtle but different.

I'll probably clean it up Sat sometime 👍

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU GUYS!

LOL I still prefer the stock wheels... love that thin spoke look.

Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Personally I don't buy cars unless I can pay cash for them. I currently drive a 04 Ranger 5 speed. Don't care how sporty or what the seats are like. I keep it clean and all my paychecks go to me. That's the most important thing, if I can't pay for it outright I don't really own it.

There's no doubt that paying ca$h is best Jay but the majority of us prefer to pay monthly for our cars, like a house for instance. Not sure if you checked out the earlier posts but I bought the car on 2-14-14

Wait, you bought the Fiat?

:buffing:

All cleaned up and nowhere to go, LOL! It now has PBL paint coating on it though, all painted surfaces as well as the glass. This is my 2nd to around with a paint coating and I'll see how it goes this time, different product though so maybe that will mean something😜

Nice and glossy!:):props:

I have to say the gloss is crazy and I'd have to go back and see what I said about the first couple applications of DGNCC. What I do remember is not being happy with the looks after 2 monthes, even reapplied it and then never went back after the 3rd coat. Initially it was pretty cool down in the garage when I did the 1st coat (56 outside) and mid 60's after the 2nd one. Although this is a different product I would like to think the application in 70 degree temps and controlled environment and it sitting for 3 hrs before it went outside helped and back into 50 degree temps and it's not going anywhere all day tomorrow and leaving the garage around 8 a.m. Monday morning.

It's going to he an interesting winter test for sure but I can tell you this as I sit here watching It's a Wonderful Life, if it's a light winter I'm not going to be upset❄
