First off for years I've used 3M Perfect-It Ultra Fine Polish & Meguiar's Ultra Fine Polish.
I've been looking for a Polish that had little to no cut to maintain my black 09' RAV.
The 205 is my go to Polish when doing a two step correction, I follow with it after using Meguiar's 105 or the Wolfgang Uber Compound.
But what if your car has no defects but want something to make your paint really pop, we all know prep work is the most important thing we can do before applying our last step.
Optimum Finish Polish
Few things I found out about it that I really like.
1. Has little to no cut when using a black finishing pad, that's important to me in keeping my RAV looking flawless.
2. The a Optimum Finish Polish has the longest work time of any Polish I ever used, it allows you to buff as long as you need, it will not dry out even after 6, 7, even 10 passes.
This allows you to what I call "slow buffing ", not jeweling but going over each panel as long as you see fit to bring out the best shine and reflection possible, with my 205 I could only make a few passes then had to stop not to dry buff, then repeat if needed.
3. Spreads easy using a flat pad, sure it would be the same using any finishing pad or any pad that you may choose.
4. Easy to remove.
At first I found it to be "oily" and took much buffing , then I read to remove it spray it with some sort of Rinse-Less wash or detail spray, I tried it and it worked out fine, so easy now that I figured that part out.
After using the Optimum Finish Polish I told my wife the RAV never had the shine and reflection as it looks right now, it's really insane, wet looking, she agreed:dblthumb2:
I didn't take any before shots, mainly because the car was next to flawless and had incredible shine, so I thought.
First I washed it, no claying needed being I clayed it a couple of weeks back.
I took out my DeWalt 849x along with the Optimum Finish Polish and a 5.5" Lake Country Black Flat Finishing pad.
I spent about 8 hours buffing the entire car, roof and luggage racks.
It didn't take me long to notice something amazing, the shine it provided and the reelection was second to none.
Below are pictures of the RAV polished and sealed using the Wolfgang Glossy Paint Sealant.

Again this Polish has given me the best shine than the others I've tried.

If your looking for a fine polish that will allow you to polish when you want to without worring about removing to much clear coat than you may want to give the Optimum Finish Polish a try.
I did test it using my PC as well and the results were still very good.
