Hello! Im starting with a tricky question.
Last night I started using the Nanoscrub Fine Pad with my Griot Garage, did the glass first to break it in (the fine was new), did one door, perfect job 5 minutes, then finished by hard with clay for the small areas etc etc.

The Hood....., the hoow was replaced last week after an accident, it is an aftermarket that at first was barely fit and required lots of patience and adjustment (done by the body shop) and also pops when the DA polisher is in the middle (I remember the original hodd being solid!)

I know fresh paint needs time before cleaning/decontaminate but this really felt like butter, even the new side of the clay was living a mark!

I decided to try on a spot the autoscrub with lot of lubrification and basically re result was several scratches (see the picture), many of them follow the orbital movement!

I was the paint not cured at all after one week?
It was a bad paint job?

Should I try to polish now or wait 30 days to cure and then try to polish it?

the picture is 4x enlargment

Thank you kindly for any help

if it was me I would not do anything to the repainted areas the reason begin is that its very delicate, soft, and etc now after a month(30 days)
you could do whatever you like( clay, polish, wax, etc) as for begin slick it may be cause of the gaze they put on the paint to hide defects until you got home

Thank you James, you are right better don't touch it, and hope in a month a polish will make thing better since Im under the impression that the paint job hasn't been done properly.
