MONSTER C6 Corvette

Really, really good work right here and like you said, the customers face makes it all worth it.....along with the bill, LOL!

Very well done. A man who knows his craft knows the sheer level of work that 38hrs truly involved. Definitely not for the faint of heart or the faint of skill. Well executed to quite a high level. Kudos.

Thank you!

I find that for most paint, if you position the light far enough away, the light stand becomes a swirl finder light. My experience in photography lends the insight into this. The further away the light source from what your viewing, the less "soft" it is. The further away it is the harsher and more of a point source it becomes. I've found them very good to work under. Im in Houston and detailing in the summer it gets HOT. The last thing I want to do is stand in front of 1000W of halogen.

Understandable and thanks for the insight. Thanks

What is the bulb type?

14 75W bulbs.

Still 1000W of light, but I get MUCH more use out of mine than most. High ceilings in my shop meant interiors were disastrously hard to do. I think we get a slight tan while working now. lol.

Are they just standard tube lights? Not something special like T8 or anything, thanks for answering though, I like it and might start putting together pieces!

Just your standard lights. Those high output types start getting really expensive and the ballast and fixtures were like double the price.

real nice work. Now the thing I was needing to know is with all that time and 2 guys working. How much can you charge for a job like that? Are they rich oil guys lol With a nice shop and time I would have to be at 1500.00 just to think of that much time on one car.
