Is Megs D103 APC + Discontinued?

Yes and no.

It wil no long be availible in 1 gal you can still get it in 5 gal and 55 gal
 
Thanks. That sucks. I don't need 5 gal, 1 gal would last me long enough. That stuff got great reviews. Now I need to start looking for a new APC.
 
There are some gallon jugs on Ebay. Of course you have to pay shipping, but even with they are still cheaper than 5 gallons.

Why do companies do this? Is it just for the bottom line? So we the consumer deal with the inconvenience?

Unbelievable. Were the 1gal plastic containers costing too many pennies to justify? Or did the bean counters realize they could save .000000000012 cents/gal if they just went ahead and packaged in 5gal containers?

UPDATE: Just called them. They said not enough people were buying the 1 gal containers. wow. just wow. I hate meguiars now.

Your average consumer didn't buy it. Detailers love it, and we are able to buy in 5 gallon containers. This is perfect for us. It keeps the bottom line for the detailer low too. If they continued to sell single gallons, I would expect them to hike up the price significantly.

Maybe I'm just looking at all of the wrong times, but I've never once seen D103 in "the Amazon." I always see D101, however.

Admittedly, I only considered trying D103 in the past 6 months or so, and that's when I actively started shopping prices for it...

OP, try Optimum Power Clean or CG All Clean +. Both good APCs.
