This is my view, for what the hell it's worth. I've had very good success. A lot of people try to work the Nanoskin, or the many products like it, into the routine of washing. Granted more than most do this as a secondary phase after they believe the contaminants are "cleared". I was one of those people, until I realized you have (need) to treat this as an individual step, not a convenience. Wash you vehicle, and I mean good. Use the clay substitute as and individual process with plenty of lube. ( I use Dodo born slippery ) did I mention plenty of lube. This along with correct pressure (light) will take you where you need to be before you continue your preferred steps. Good luck.
