Pad suggestions for my Flex

For a traditional DA such as the PC I recommend the Hydro Tech pads as these are quite similar to the Hybrid pads. These two pad lines feature closed cell construction.

Millbrook? I'm in Germany.

The 5" Hybrid pads were designed to be used with the 4" bp from the interchangeable bp system. You can use the larger 4 3/8 plate but you run the risk of damaging the foam as the bp can come into contact pad with enough exertion.

Sorry about that location blip. Was texting on cell. The my location was directed at Dirty Black in Auburn. You're on the hill close to Bitburg if memory serves. I was stationed at Rhein Main once. I have a Griot's Garage 6" DA and saw only the tips on a Flex. Any tips for the G.G. DA? I have Cobra Groove Flex 6" pads that came in a pkg deal, some flat 5.5" smart pads I purchased from Autogeek as suggested and will buy some red 5.5" L.C. Hydro Tech Crimson Ultra from D.I. for waxing. Thanx in advance.

No problem. Yes I'm on the hill near Bitburg. I flew into Rhein Main when I first came to Germany in 05. I was the last flight to come through there.

I don't have any tips for a traditional DA such as the GG6. DAT based polishes such as Menzerna behave differently under them compared to direct drive tools. Maybe others can comment on their results.

However the Wolfgang lineup of polishes are much more user friendly on a traditional DA than their Menzerna counterpart IME.

Keep me updated,

Mike
