Ever walk to your car; stop and stare?

^^ LOL at the responses..

The truck owner was someone i knew so no damage would have been done.. hey, there were no spots on the street so i went to extreme measures! First time i ever did that too lol..

I was talking about an empty parking lot, well not many cars in it. I understand extremes but hate when I go to work and there is some A-hole in the lot double parked and sideways with three others just like him. We have 745 people that work in our office and only 700 parking spots, it gets crowed and people park on the grass too.

That is a ridiculous amount of poo your car has accumulated. Hope you have a good sealant under that

Walked out and stopped to watch the end of a Hitchcock movie... can you guess which???

My car after the drive to work (poop initially hidden under morning frost)

smh.

:nomore:

OMG, clean that car quick! Did you just wash it

It means you park your car once, get out, look at it, then repark it because it didn't look right the first time

Double Park!

Thanks mate, so let's say I Triple Park mostly...

See, I was thinking it was related to 'occupying double space' or even parking 'diagonally' occupying the place of 2 cars. LOL! Double park! Tried to guess out from the picture shown.

I've thought, 'but is that legal in the US?'

Again, thanks for clarifying.

Kind Regards.

Must have been a good party.. :)

(winter protection 'fell off' a while ago. :/)

Did you just wash it

Negative ghost rider, thankfully - both are due though.

thread hijack over - back to your regularly scheduled thread - and yes, i give my vehicles the second, third, and sometimes fourth looks.

double park means taking up 2 parking spaces per vehicle

double parking is not illegal here in the states. It does iritate some folks. I've been threatened with violence

I did one night, the day I found a huge door gouge in my driver door. I looked and looked, vomited and then drug my GF out to show her what one of her kids did.

I'm in lock step with the OP and everyone else for sure! On my old car I would always point out the clarity of the paint, the wetness and so on and so forth and she just smiles and says "ok". My car is my DD, my hobby and my therapy all rolled into one!

I always take the safest route when I park

- Never double park (don't want to get keyed)
- Always take a corner spot where possible
- Don't park between big cars like minivans
- Go as far as parking in another lot with lesser parks
- Avoid parking under trees

And I always look at my car after I park and when I get back because I simply don't trust other drivers. My car may not be in the same condition when I return.

Having said all that, I love the clean and glossy paint after a good wash. I would stare at the reflection the car gives off :D

I'd like to add to your list.......

Park facing into the wind so your door doesn't get ripped out of your hand when you open it

when I park wa-a-a-y out in the parking lot I park (in one space) on a high spot. Shopping carts don't roll up hill and parking far out in the lot generally prevents people from walking past my car with their carts.

many times there are a few other nicely maintained cars way out in the lot so I park a safe distance away but next to them passenger door to passenger door. I'm betting most people travel alone & the passenger door will not be used

watch out for 2 door coupes, their doors are longer than most four doors
