Exterior Showroom Detail: 06 EVO IX SE

when you used the power washer to apply foam, let it dwell, then rinse, then foam again, then you went to a mitt.

I guess you foamed the entire car then, essentially, rubbed a mitt over the entire vehicle top to bottom. Then rinsed without cleaning the mitt at all?

I'm getting a power washer soon and am curious as to proper technique as I'm worried it'll work a lot like a rinsless car-wash (and we all know how well those work).
 
If youre using a foaming power washer attachment then it is designed to foam the soap as to lift contaminants off the paint. if you want to be sure then rinse, foam, mit w/ buckets/grit guards, rinse.

I'm sure I can find instances where this has been done many times but I'm not trying to make this a you know what contest. Great work and great car!! I used to run a 1g talon that was making 625 not stock motor but was friends with the guys that ran the fastest on a stock 14b. My days like this are well over unless I hit some jackpot that I don't even play. Glad to see another x guy not far from me. What color is yours?

Mine is white. I'm the owner of RawEvo.com, the largest Evo X magazine and parts store. Detailing is a side line as I love doing it :)
