Hello, I just bought a used 370z and have started working on fixing the pain(t) marks. I'm able to fix the swirls fairly well so far, but by keeping the car clean the paint chips on the hood are more pronounced. I'm aiming at being able to fix them without a reprint of the hood, both for practice and hopefully cost.
I have a meguiar da polisher and pads so far with Meguiar UC and polisher. Can I tackle this or must I purchase more? It looks like a rotary will be required In order to wet sand, along with purchasing some small touch up paint from a body shop and I can follow the key scratch fixes from the how to section.
Thanks in advance, I just want to make sure I understand everything before I pour even more money and/or mess up the paint.
