Which brand is forbidden to be spoken around you?

Nope, I do not like Mustangs...I respect them but PERSONALLY don't like them. That's not anything bad about anyone else's choice in vehicles I just don't like em nor do I wanna talk about them. That's the point of the post right.

I have nothing against the brand or their products, but Adams customers turn me off from their entire line up. I wanted to try a bottle of their stuff but after looking for reviews and information I got tired of seeing pointless comments from Adams "fans". IE:

"Nothing compares"
"Throw all that other crap away, all youll ever need is Adams"
"I've never tried anything else and I dont need to now"

Bleh!
 
None. Why limit myself? If something is the best, I don't care who makes it.

To expound further: Why would I care if someone on the intertubes doesn't like a product? If said product works to my expectations what difference does it make that someone in a faraway location doesn't like it for whatever reason? I'll stick with the products I use because they satisfy me and I'll use them often and not because of someones opinion.

There are fan-boys for pistols, motor oil, sunglasses, sealants, waxes, movies, etc. Don't limit yourself because of what a stranger says.

Try a product out. If you like it, good. If not, lesson learned. You may find that product is fantastic or s*** but you'll never know until you yourself give it a whirl.
 
FW1 spray wax. Just because of the annoying salesman that walk over to your vehicle, spray the wax on a DIRTY area, and wipe it off with a dirty rag.

I'll never actually try it myself.

I've never seen those guys but if I did I'd probably buy a can. Seems perfect for door jambs and inside my fuel door.
Is there a similar product sold here or OTC?
 
Toyota Honda... most of my import fans rave over how awesome and reliable they are... I respond, when they want to stop lol

DAP X-Hose Pro Flexible Hose: Absolutely the biggest pieces of crap sold. A total scam. GUARANTEED to burst with first use. Their is no recourse on the warranty. Total B.S. I have purchased 4 and never again. Great concept,except they don't work. Waste of $$$!!!
 
In my place, it is Meguairs. The brand has been spoiled here. Every nobody just set up a shop, putting Meg's logo and people will think that you are professional even though they just wash the car with the roughest rags in the world, polishing your car will come out with fully free holograms.

Mainly because Megs is the easiest to get OTC here, followed by Sonax. But people do not buy Sonax's idea which is too bad. Here Megs center even sell a paint coating which is not found on Megs worldwide website because it isn't VOC compliant.

The stuff is insanely expensive. Next time they try to do a test spot on my car I'm going to tell them to go try a real waterless wash product called UWW+. I'm sure they've never heard of it.

+1 I had 2 of them (PRO version). The first one bursted on the 2nd use.

The other one lasted maybe after 7 or 8 uses. Got caught on something in the yard like a stick or something. Inflated like a balloon and burst. Got a face full of water.
 
I actually get the comments about Adam's. It seems like once someone buys something from them everything else becomes garbage in their mind.

Great marketing on Adam's part though, there isn't a brand that comes even close to them in fierce loyalty.

It's funny. I get those comments because I use Adam's but am now using many alternatives simply due to price and the fact that the cheaper one can perform the same or better in some cases.


However, I will admit some things from Adam's like their glass cleaner and quick sealant are so easy to use and perform great, that I don't mind paying a little extra for something that I don't use as large amounts of such as APC or clay lube.
