Boat Detailing - Bates Detailing - Nashville Tn

Wow, thanks for those pics! What did you use on the motor? I'm getting ready to do the bottom half of my motor tomorrow. One of my motor cowl decals was peeling so we got all new ones in for it. This winter was rough on the boat (it won't fit in our garage, too wide and long). Put in about 7 hours on the cowl alone today, but that included applying the new cowl decals.

I used M105 and M205 w/ foam pads to get the finish better. Tomorrow I'm hoping to finish the motor and would love to know if I'm on the right lines product wise...

Great work on that Triton and Verado!!!

BTW, I didn't want to jack your thread and post my pics, so I made a thread so you can see my progression on my motor!

Yeah man - I checked them out the other day..... looks great! Sorry for the late response :/ Just been all the way busy :buffing::buffing::buffing:

The Triton is awesome but their gel coat is 100X better than the best Hurricane ever had. The Hurricane was neglected and you brought it back, very nice work. I used to sell both brands (along with many others) so I'm somewhat familiar with them.

Truly awesome work on the Verado mid and lower unit(s).

Thanks man! Bet you caught the '78 mistake quick then! That was too embarrassing when I found that out . Any how, thanks for the compliments man - always good hearing from you!
