As A new sponsor for our local Cars and Coffee here in the Pittsburgh area I was contacted by one of our members to do a full correction on this Porsche Cayman S. The condition of the paint was not very great with heavy above surface contamination and moderate swirls and scratches. The color of the red was dull and even had a little bit of a fading look to it.

The car had a clear bra on the front bumper that was removed before the work by using steam. Once the old film was removed it was time to give the car a full wash and decontamination.

Exterior:

  • Wheels spayed down with Wolfgang Uber Wheel Cleaner
  • Agitated with Various brushes (Daytona Speed Brush, Wheel Woolies, and Mothers Brushes)
  • Wheel Wells sprayed with Meguiar's APC+
  • Tires spayed with Meguiar's Wheel and Tire Cleaner

Paint:

  • Washed with Chemical Guys Citrus Red
  • Tight areas cleaned and agitated with the wheels woolie brush
  • Paint decontaminated with the Speedy Prep Towel and Infinite Use Detail Juice for clay lube
  • Paint Compounded with HD Adapt on a BnS foam Cutting pad via the Rupes 21
  • Paint polished with HD Polish on a BnS foam Finishing pad via the Rupes 21
  • The paint was then cleaned with and IPA wipe down
  • 22PLE was applied to all painted surfaces

Thanks for looking! :props:

Excellent work you sure know how to make a Porsche shine with depth

Oh yeah hahaha, gorgeous! The picture just above the last (how do we call this?!) is my favorite, but every detail of this job makes me wonder...

How beyond perfection should one get? You went far on this one, congratulations.

Keep doing the nice work,

Kind Regards.

great work here. It is amazing to me how somebody goes out and buys a car, then treats it horribly and does not know how to properly care for it. However, thats why we are here

My buddy and I always pull the headlights they are easy to remove and he also like them out for when he does clear bra work after the detail so he can wrap the edges
