Coated my tires today and WOW,

Well, that's that.
I got two more from O'Reillys Auto. He ordered from another store that had them. He told me there are no more he can see. That's locally. So I am done, I guess.

Try yours though. It's not on the shelves!! Mine did have red stickers with $2.87 on them!

I'm in Madison, WI for work and was on the way back to the hotel and saw an O'Reilly's and thought I'd stop to check if they had any of these left. They didn't have it on the shelves, so I asked the rep in the store and he checked with his boss in the back. Came back in a couple minutes with a sealed box. He was shocked to see the price of only $2.00 after tax! Asked if he had anymore, but his boss said they didn't. I suspect they may be keeping some for themselves! :-P

I read a lot (not all) of the 982 replies to this thread. I only have experience with Black Pearl and DP tire coatings. Is the general consensus that the TW coating has a greater longevity than either of these?

DP lasts a little longer that TW for me

I decided to try it out on my new car. I did four coats.

Look great👍🏽 That's exactly how it's supposed to look.
If your tires [or wheels for that matter] become dirty, you can spray some Megs Hot Wheels Wheel & Tire Cleaner on them and simply hose them off to reveal the clean coated tire underneath. Or you could also use Megs D143 Acid Free Wheel & Tire Cleaner @2:1 if you want to buy it in bulk. I've found it to be the best way to maintain this coating without having to scrub.

picked up 4 boxes of TW tire coating this week, best dressing/coating I have used for tires

You noobs to the TW coating, let's see some pics!

So today I did a wash and wheel cleaning, along with applying the 2nd of the Son1c protowaxes I won and decided to apply 1 coat of TW with the process. Its been about a month since I last applied a coat and maybe I should wait till a holiday to re-apply, just a thought but like I said before, its about once a month because I want it to look very fresh but cetainly after a month its still working and doing its thing. I should also state that along with spraying my wheelwells down with Bleache-White I also sprayed the tires down with it today but DID NOT scrub them, just let it sit and rinsed off and wiped with designated MF towel, that's it before the 1 coat re-apply.

You can clearly see here that the tires aren't super shiny like some have said that TW tire coating is when freshly applied.

I actually applied a 2nd coat when I got home, will reapply during the 4th of July weekend 🇺🇸

So I am about to coat a set of tires, but they have raised white letters. How do you guys go about the lettering? Can I just brush the coating over the letters (as I need to coat the tire around/in the lettering) and it will run off the letters and keep them white? Or do you guys brush the coating around the lettering as much as possible and wipe the coating off the letters as needed?

I've never attempted to apply the TW Tire Coating to tires with white lettering. I wouldn't think it'd be possible, it contains a black dye.

That's what I was afraid of. I am using the Black Pearl coating, but I think they all contain a black dye. It is for my father's truck and not a true paying customers so I may try to carefully apply it and see what happens.

I think it's an impossible task... I always make sure to either ask the customer or inspect the tires myself for 2 specific things before I begin making bold promises such as "I'm gonna put some stuff on your tires that's gonna last like 3 months"
1. Make sure they're not Michelins.
2. Make sure their tires don't have white lettering, because if they do, I cannot use the TW Endura Tire Coat on them.

Klasse Act is spot on with everything he states regarding the TW Tire Coat... He's the Endura Master!😃👍🏽

Well luckily it is just for my father so if I can't coat them there is no harm done. So Michelin don't take the coating very well? Interesting as it seems like they take "normal" tire dressings better than most tires. Thanks for the info/input guys!

For those looking for a coating that CAN be used with white letters or whitewalls try the McGee's (formally DP) tire coating. It comes out milky white and will work just fine. As far as Michelins go it seems like they are very pores, glad I didn't get those AS3's:poke:
