hey guys ,
I'm new kid on the block here, so id like to say hello and post few pictures of my todays work.
what was used was chemical guys foam citrus wash
diablo tire gell
Rupes 21 with MF cutting disc and Megs 105
followed with Megs foam finishing pad and Optimum polish
finished with CG New Car paint sealer and Black Light Wax

i must say she looks stunning.

sorry not the best pix and my description were not the best, but its a first time, it will get better .

Some pictures before , water spots and marring and swirls, this looks better on the pictures then what it was in reality.
got about 90-95% correction. its a daily driver so i left it at that.

and some after

Welcome to AGO!

Excellent job!

thank you … i used to do that years ago… I'm getting back in the game. still have my 20 yrs old Snap-On rotary buffer lol… works good for fast cutting but Rupes makes work so much more pleasurable !!!

90-95% is better than 1% of the cars on the road! 100% impossible.. that being said, awesome job!

Welcome to autogeek , nice work on that VW and welcome back to the hobby

thanks to all of you guys. its a great hobby, and very rewarding !!! got to get my DSLR Nikon to make some nice shots in the future. got few cars coming up for detail job.
a lot of what i know its trail and error but , lurking and reading AGO helped me a lot!! so thank you AGO. this is a great forum !!!!!

Welcome to AGO! Nice first post!

That's how a black German sedan should look! Which Nikon are you shooting with?

Those pictures were done with my iphone lol. I have D80 with 18-135 lens , plus UV filter which makes for some nice sky shots and gets rid of some unwanted reflections.
Im nowhere near good photographer hahaha

Nice work! I have a 2013 Plat. Gray TDI. I've mostly used HD polish on a Meg's MF cutting disk. Really nice. VW paint responds very nicely to the MF system when it's needed. Finishes really nice and corrects well!

All you guys with TDI's. At my dealer we can chip them and really boost your power and torque. We are an APR Tuning Shop.
