Back with another one! This time I decided to show a little love to the e46. Pretty thrilled with the results I was able to achieve in such little time.

Washed
Clayed, Meguiar's Clay kit
Meguiar's DA w/
First tried the White wax on a LC CCS white pad, wasn't too thrilled about it.
Then tried going with the LC CCS orange pad, and it worked great.
Meguiar's White wax came off easy.

Was pretty hard to capture a true before and after on camera but I think it worked. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks properly detailed from here, very beautiful car you have!

You did a very nice job,

Thanks for sharing.

Great work!

I hear that White Wax is good stuff - on par with D151 in terms of cut.

Looks good. White wax is nice for those quick details.

And it's funny what we consider quick detail (this one took me about 4 hours) lol. Pretty sure the avg person thinks "cleaning" a car for that long is insane.

So Meg's White Wax has some polish in it too? If so the car looks like it came out pretty damn good for basically doing a 1 step! I bet its out and about with that top down cruizin' around!

Wow the red really pops now!
^^^And How!!:props:^^^

The way some people's minds become wrapped around the whole "color waxes" scheme...They would probably think that this vehicle should turn out "Pink"...:laughing:

Sure does! Here's a chart to give you an idea between the white and black wax

Yeah glad I picked up some white wax for it.

Well color charged waxes can subtlety effect the look of the paint. No, it's not going to turn red into pink - but it can slightly change the look. I'm sure you've seen Dodo Juice's pic of them layering different waxes on a white car?

Yep...Seen DoDo's layering it on.

Now...
If the paint that you say can be subtlety effected by "color-charged" waxes, happens to be OEM paint kitchen oven-cured clear coat (CC)-paint...

How is this "effecting" done? By somehow:
-Dyeing the CC-paint;
-Muting and/or somehow devitalizing the underlying base coat paint (BC);
-Applying waxes that cure to some degree of opaqueness?

BTW:
Red car+White wax = Pink car:
-It was intended as a moment of levity. Yet:
I thoroughly enjoy discussion on "color-charged waxes", as a by-product, thereof.

No sé cómo funciona. No estoy seguro que Dodo Juice sabe cómo funciona. Pero funciona. Creo que la dama funciona como un esmalte funciona.

So...Bottom line:
You think the Lady works as a glaze works?
