Used a flex polisher with green CG hex pad with pro polish 3n and didn't usRid the swirls... Help please !!! Should I get a different polish

It looks like you might be using a polish that is less aggressive than you need....but, there are many other factors like:

-How much downward pressure on the machine?

-How long are you working the polish?

-Is your working area too large?

-Is the pad properly primed?

-Using the right speed?

Chemical Guys GAP_108_16 - Pro Polish Nano 3n - High Gloss Paint Correction Polish and Protectant (16 oz)

•Works great as a final step product that produces an exceptional shine

•Contains no fillers or silicone

•For superior results use with the White Hex-Logic Pad

Probably need to step to a heaveir polish. Maybe try slowing down your arm speed and go no bigger than a 2x2 sesction.

For the sake of referencing would you consider a 2x2 section to be like say a quarter of the panel at a time? For example

Oh schnikies I've been using the wrong polish with the wrong pad... Rookie mistake!!!! **embarased**

The CG Pro-Polish is a product for someone like me where the only time i'll see swirls or light scratches is after a rough Chicago winter. I would use Pro Polish then. Sounds like you might need a M205 or a Sonax Perfect Finish. If you'd like to stay with the Chemical Guys line you can use V34, maybe v36.

I'm not familiar with the CG hex logic green pads so i say you get a a Lake Country Orange pad (flat) and a white pad.

Not sure if you read my post on my new 2014 Mirage but I had to try a few combos to find one that worked.
One size doesn't fit all so to speak.

Often times it's not only about which Polish your using, the pad selection is just as important.

Keep at it bud:dblthumb2:
Do the best you can, that's all you can do, the best you know how:)
