I been detailing for a while but never really go into interiors, mainly exteriors. Thinking of going mobile and bought a vapamore 100. How effective and efficent can I be with a upholstery brush, carpet brush, spot cleaner, apc, a strong shop vac, and the steamer? Should i look to get a Bissell spot pro and wait to get a extractor or i should be good with those until i make enough for a extractor?

I am here trying to look for an inexpensive but effective steam cleaner to extract some stains from the seats. I just wish I knew how to use an extractor.

It might be worth trying a little green machine on that. Before I got my aztec hotrod it did the trick quite well.

Is tge Little green machine that much better than a shop vac with a claw attachment? I mean, is it worth the 100 bucks if it's not that much better?

Just found it and got to say it's affordable and good reviews! I am giving that a try!

Yes but spring for the proheat version IMO. A few people have posted before and afters here using a LGM if you dig around. The shop vac left the carpet more wet for me and I don't like that idea at all. The LGM works well it's limiting factor can be the size of tank though it takes some patience.

a harbor freight steamer would do fine

apc, brush, steam, apc, brush towel, steam, towel

They are good and they are cheap, around $100 or so at your local big box store. If it is really dirty adding Floex instead of whatever cleaner they suggest helps a lot.

I am giving that a try in order to renovate the interior and the front seats.

Do you guys use a vinegar/water solution after the soap to keep the bubbles down? I seen that somewhere, wondering if it's common practice.

I really wouldn't want my interior to smell like vinegar after a detail. For extractor use, just use a low foaming cleaner. I use Megs APC+ and it has very little foam and a nice clean scent. I also use a readily available commercial carpet cleaner concentrate that works great too ( not sure if i can name it on here ) thats designed for extractors.
