I'm new to the forum (3rd post). And have been reading lots here since December.

I have a question regarding these issues I saw on 2011 Subaru Outback

First one looks like a minor scratch at the rear the car

Second one is a paint chip the hood

Last but not least is the sore deep scratch on the front of the car. (Upside down not sure why)

My question is how can i tackle them? I'm open for suggestions

I know I have swirls (you can see on the hood). So I'm getting TSR for it.

Unless you recommend something else?

Only the minor scratch can be corrected , the chip on the hood and that nasty scratch will need paint.

I noticed a lot of swirls, now that can be fixed without a problem if you have the correct machines, products and know how.

There are some good videos on youtube in where you can use a medium cutting compound, polisher, and some paint sealant. To be honest do a 2'x2' spot and use a medium compound to see how the results look like if the swirls are still there then use a heavy cutting compound. You can use a PC 7424XP or a Rupees machine. I usually used a Hex logic orange cutting pad when using a cutting compound, then a white one to polish, and finally a blue one to apply the paint sealant. When you are using the compound use speed setting 1 to smear the product and then speed it up to speed setting 3-4 doing 5 to 6 passes over lapping each other...just work on a 2'x2' section at a time.
