What wash mitt do you use?!

Nick has mentioned the Natural Sea Sponge to me a while back and I completely forgot about it. Sounds intriguing.

Sea sponges are the best IMO, especially the wool sponge for extremely gentle washes. Just as soft as any mitt (once wet, not dry, don't let that deter you), will hold more solution, and will rinse free the worst grime with ease, even brake dust is released just by squeezing it a few times in rinse water. They can also be easily squeezed into tight spaces and you don't need to wash them when finished, just squeeze them out and let dry. I highly recommend them.

I bought mine locally, but, someone else had posted a link to these on amazon which are a better price - make sure it is at lease 8-9 inch sponge.

thanks for the link. So happens a buddy of mine bought one for me and I've been a little nervous about using it. Your post helps - I'll make sure I let it soap in the water a bit first.

I've read that sea sponges are great but some have left over sand in them so be sure to do a thorough cleaning first just to be safe.

Do you use both sides?

I mostly use the dreadlock-like side; but the other side works smoothly when serious dirt is bonded to the paint.

The main advantage of this mitt, it's its capability to retain shampoo; so squeezing it gently you have a constant flow of shampoo, and only takes a little to get used to it.

I'm considering buying another one to have it as a backup... I love it!
