Anyone use Rinseless as their primary wash method?

So I am going to jump on the Rinseless wash band wagon. Just made an order of ONR. I will not be doing the Gary Dean style wash method. While in a way it does make sense on how it works. IMO it just seems like additional work that can be avoided.

This will be called, "Thee, Artie The One Man Party Wash Method" (name is still in the works lol)

I am kidding about naming it btw
:hotrod2:

I got the idea (like all other ideas, they just popped in my head)

Well I made a phone call to where I ordered it and they said yep that's the way they do it to. Having so many towels gets old fast. Which is one of the reasons why I never really cared to much for that method until I got this idea

I don't know if I should share my idea with you guys just yet. There are YouTube videos of people doing it. So no I did not come up with it.

The main reason why I want to try this method is because I want to start trying to get more Eco friendly. As you all know I live in SoCal (yes I was told they envy us ) so we could 2BM wash year round, but why not try save some water if possible even though I do have that privilege of not having to.

And since my favorite cars are classics (hint, hint... and might have a new customer and yes it will be filmed ;) )

Now if it's become a convention, (even when being combined with other, more water-consuming car washing methods) in areas of the World where there are no such current water restrictions

Some areas do not have restrictions of any kind. They are draining their water supplies down (lakes, below ground sources) and when there is an extended drought they wonder why they have the problem. But this gets into who is using water...for example, should Pepsi be taking a local community water supply and rebottle it for profit over the people in the local community that need it during droughts? The games that go on with water restrictions...

I would like to think technology will improve so lower water consumption methods become safer but there are those that will never accept it...

Water restrictions was supposedly one of, if not the main reason for the revolutionary rinseless-wash invention.

And so on; and so on...

I agree Bob. I don't have water restrictions in SC. The method I described is not intended to limit water use. It is intended to take advantage of my climate controlled garage.

Not doubting your rinseless wash facility...

But, as for your intentions of having an
"hybrid rinseless wash method":
I just hope you're not trying to pull the
Merino Wool Mitt over my eyes.

if it's not a new idea.. then share it.

rinseless is cheaper. you can't do the garry dean wash method with waterless. if you have a business PLACE, then that is where you'd use it instead.

You can do waterless or rinseless any time you want. The question is it the right cleaning method. How you clean, polish, etc. should depend on the situation not on a fixed black or white situation.

Waterless is fine for garage queens or for those who prefer convenience over other factors. It is a personal decision. Rinseless is good or a combination (hose down first then waterless or rinseless).

Gee thanks bunky, I was told there was a specific time to use rinseless washes - only between 2 pm and 5:40 pm, and only if you have a business, and only if you're wearing short shorts and a tank top. I've been doing it that way for 30 years. I wish you woulda told me sooner! Thanks for the heads up.. now I'll be able to wear my favorite tshirt, my justin bieber never say never tour tshirt!

Thanks bunky:xyxthumbs:
