Black McLaren MP4-12c by High End Detail

Btw, I am also a huge fan of HD Speed and HD Poxy! I love that combo! I keep Manny fairly busy down there at the 826 store

Been hearing good things about HD Speed. Going to make a purchase, but I'm wondering of a sealant like Ammo Skin can be placed over it.

Heading down to south beach at the end of May, I'll keep a look out for this one, haha! Great job. Looks excellent!

Great job Josue, thanks for sharing the products and methods used. Good to see that business is picking up. Looks like you're living up to the name of your business "High End Detail". :dblthumb2:

You said you used the 3" pad to apply the sealant/wax... why? I usually go bigger when applying the LSP, not smaller.

everytime ive attended a thursday night open garage that mike hosts he always uses the 3'' for wax application. i also noticed that its easier for me with a smaller pad. its gives me more control and it helps me pinpoint exactly where i want the wax applied therefore it reduces the chances of wax residue falling in cracks i didnt want it to fall in.

That looks great man! Haven't seen you truck around yet but im sure its just a matter of time! Good luck and keep it up! Gotta put all these "$55 detailers" down here out of business man. (or maybe not since they keep us busy apparently lol)

i see that youre in ft lauderdale, im more of a miami region detailer. i did a blue shelby in ft lauderdale once. i hear ya on the $55 detailers.. and i see that you go to the same 3d store i go to.. heck its the only one in miami that i know of.

manny is cool peeps, and youre right.. this combo has been a time saver for me.

from what i heard, speed is 70% and 30% wax.. dont quote me on that.. but ive been told it leaves a wax layer aswell. cant comment on ammo skin, i love larry.. but his stuff is too expensive for us that are doing it for business. for the price, you cant beat hd speed and poxy.

you might see it, the owner is a cardiologist and he only comes down to miami for the weekends. what a life.

Awesome job mrclean. Black is so rewarding.

yes, it sure is!

thanks frank, youve seen me since my training days.. so you know ive put in the work. hopefully i keep getting more "high end detail" work to share with you guys.

Great work, the Maclaren looks great! :xyxthumbs:

thanks for checking it out :dblthumb2:

Yes you can put sealants on top of speed. It has micro abrasives so you can use it to do final polishes, and has a wax mixed in, but it doesn't last long. I would never use it as a "final wax".

And yea, I'm down in Miami once in a while. the 427 Shelby I just did was down in Miami actually...in like Carol City lol

this is gonna sound kinda dumb but, as nice as the McLaren is I'm more impressed with your HHR Van! It looks mint as.
Why do they never bring classy/classic looking vehicles like that to Oz?

Nice work. I love the simplicity of your detail on such a high end car! 3 hours is very impressive.
