After a long hard dirty Jerzey winter,I'm seeking advice on the best cleaner/wax/sealant to put on my Pitch Black paint. I've used Mags on it,light swirls on the roof and hood. I recently purchased the PC 7424XP and I'm looking to jump in the pool in the deep end.

I assume you a) aren't interested in compounding/polishing and b) not interested in coating your vehicle? If so, then IMHO all you need is

Paint Cleaner: Griots Garage Paint Prep or CarPro Eraser are pretty easy to apply
Sealant: most people here love WGDGPS (WG Deep Gloss Paint Sealant), Menzerna's PowerLock, or Blackfire Wet Diamond. I'm seeing more people become fans of Sonax's Polymer NetShield though and I hear DP Poli-Sealant is very good as well.
Wax (if you really want): Colli 845 or DP Max Wax.

If you're asking for a really good cleaner wax/sealant or "AIO" as they are often called, then take a look at this thread: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...2-your-favorite-aio-good-cutting-ability.html

If you want to compound/polish then get Megs Ultimate Compound/Ultimate Polish--very user-friendly and great for beginners!

I document all kinds of approaches to taking a diamond in the rough and turning it into a glistening gemstone in this forum group.

Some have LIVE FEED Videos where we filmed the entire process to show others how to do it.

You can learn a ton of tips and techniques from watching any and/or all of the live feeds.

Since you bought the PC, are you planning on removing the swirls or just trying to cover them up with a glaze type product?

I thought I took real good care of my car,I realize I no nothing! Back in the day, before marriage and kids, my car was always prime, now that I have time again, wow so many products! I always was an off the shelf guy, Pep Boys, I never knew how many products were out there! My head is spinning, I thank u all for ur advice.

If your head is spinning, you might want to think about attending this event next month (if you're not planning on going to Stuart FL to train with Mike Phillips ;) ):

Although that will only be Poorboy's products, you will be able to get some hands on experience with various tools and a better understanding of the 5 Step Process, etc. Probably around a 2 hour drive for you, it's just over the NY border.
