Big car show coming up heres my idea.

I will it's a little ways away (July 31st Aug 1st and 2nd) when it comes I'll be sure to take tons of pics.

No. I don't know what happened. The executive producer contacted me and we got the ball rolling. He tells me that a lady would call me to finalize it but never did. I called him 4 times leaving a voicemail each time and sent 2 emails. I told him if he's no longer interested in the trade I'd be willing to pay but still no response. I was actually pretty disappointed. Especially since business has REALLY died down so I could have really used that exposure. It's pretty unfortunate hopefully I'll have better luck next year. There is however a smaller mopar show and shine coming up on the 7th of September. I have a Ram I'm going to enter and I'm going to place my business cards all over the windows. Hopefully I get something out of that.

If you want success, you won't get it with that mentality

As for the mopar show:

You don't need to do that...

Get to know ONE of the members from the mopar scene

ONE person that has a nice car and wants/needs his car's paint to be flawless

Make him love your work and tell all his friends

I mean better luck next year with getting into that car show. Its held annually.

I found out today its actually not a mopar car show. Its a show and shine for any year/make/model. So I am going to bring my truck and my sisters mercedes and do the before and after on the whole car.

that's good

but what else can you do to get people talking about you there?

detail someone else's car, tell them to tell their friends, put some business cards on his car, etc

you gotta try and get more ways of people noticing who you are
