Still good info to toss out there. It may help someone else. As you said, you may already know this ....Anyhow, you may already know this but worth mentioning just in case; have you taken care of the Cowl vents?
On many of these older mustangs water leaks through the Cowl vents. It's best to weld new pieces before the car is painted but in case it's too late for that then you can buy a repair kit and glue them before you put your under dash goodys in place.
its all new!!dude... everything except the floor which was done recently we replaced ..the cowl and everything under it got coated with rust fighter and all the seams got seam sealer then painted and cleared and the color is Ford code " T " candy apple red ..there is a pic above with the can and all the info is on it ...just in case you didn't catch it. :xyxthumbs: besides i don't think this car will see much water as its resting place will be in Florida and in a well maintained garage
Thanks, I agreeStill good info to toss out there. It may help someone else. As you said, you may already know this ....
Quote:Wondering, What brand primer and paints are you using ? Did you use epoxy primer on the bare metal ? Thanks.
lol ..i know ...its only a 6 cyl... pretty stock but i think thats what bob is going forLooking good!! But man that engine looks like a squirrel in a sea.
My god Marius does this bring back memories!
Back in 1972 I had a 1965 Mustang hardtop with Fords 6 cylinder, 3 speed transmission, and 4 bolt hubs. I had some great times driving mine and I hope Bob enjoys this treasure of yesteryear...
Beautiful work Marius!rops:

The car has family history.Bob had contemplated switching the engine early on but decided to keep the six.I think that was a smart move.
