Looking for a Good Interior Cleaner

Curious, of all the products listed in this thread which have you found best to remove heel marks from light tan colored interior? Magic Eraser and APC didn't work. Best thus far is DP Total Interior Cleaner, but even that tends to leave a ghost of the mark

Hmmmm..... some really varied input here so far.
FWIW I've used 1Z (both of them), Megs APC+ and regular APC (use that in a foaming bottle), Blackfire, ONR & Griot's. (And I'm sure sometime in the past 35 years a whole host of OTC products.) Really not much that APC+(or regular APC) won't clean. Top it with 303 or Blackfire Interior Protectant and it's good to go.

I like the DP stuff as well. I think it been since reformulated, but mine smells like rotting mushrooms. Sonus All In 1 is another good one.

Well then, nothing says "CLEAN" like good ol' earthy rotten mushrooms!
Note to self: NEVER buy DP interior aka: rotten mushroom cleaner! ;)

Out of those products which have you found works the best for cleaning leather? I bought both meg's apc and apc+ with the intention of using + for dash and plastics and regular apc in a foaming bottle for leather. have yet to try the apc on leather though b/c I'm still using up some dedicated leather interior cleaner...

Not much that APC+ (or regular APC) @ 10:1 won't clean in an average interior. (By average I'm not talking about soccer moms with kids spewing soft drinks all over the place.) ;) If you really need something to cut through the gunk you can try either at 4:1. That's the only strengths I keep either of them at btw.

One thing though.... using at 4:1 will require a decent rinse with some distilled water and a nice clean MF. Tends to be a bit slippery on it's on at that strength. After that though, your choice of interior topping and you're good to go. :dblthumb2:

I was going to come in and recommend Griots. Tried it out for my first time today and no complaints at all. I have the 32oz bottle, someone said you can dilute this stuff?

Would aerospace 303 be considered a "topping?" I'm not familiar with too many interior dressings or toppings as I've been mainly using designated interior cleaners that seem to offer some UV protection as well. It seams like interiors can fall under the same process of clean, then dress? Rather than some sort of all-in-one approach?

Yes, 303 Aerospace Protectant is a topping, and has UV protection. ;)

Doesn't leave a shiny mess either! :)

Both categories you mention are popular. AIO interior products such as Meg's Quik Interior Detailer and 1Z Cockpit Premium do clean and protect and do it well. They may not have the grunt for some interior stains and may not protect as well as a dedicated sealant. It seems that best practice is to clean with a dedicated product, then seal it up with an interior sealant or coating such as Ultima Interior Guard Plus. After that maintenance should be a breeze with the AIO products. This is what works for me and your results may vary.

Great info! Knock it out with a 2-step approach first and then use dedicated AIO for maintenance. I like it.

I've definitely found my AIO interior cleaners that I like and have several APC's, so now to find some good dressings/protectants.

This sounds like wife or GF, I have the same issues.

I tried mothers reflections all in one and it was really good until I purchased the pbl leather cleaner, conditioner and plastic coating kit!

I would never go back to mothers even though I use it one everyone else's car
