Why not reccomend 3 bucket method

Kinda like this? :D

I've found that lugging around one bucket with water can be somewhat tiresome though.

One bucket has soap and water and 2 grit gaurds. The other bucket is just to carry the brushes around.

Using one bucket and 2 grit guards cleans the brushes the best from what I've found.

:urtheman:

Exactly!! Awesome video btw.

So I think the recommendation should be adjusted for clarification for people learning how to maintain their car.
Just my 1/2 cent.

Because the leftover "stuff" can be used on the tires and wheels...or you do them first with foaming sprayer, wheel cleaner and then hose off...or do the same thing but do the wheels last if using rinseless wash, just sayin'.

I often using a separate wash bucket because I use a different soap. I would use Citrus Wash and Gloss.

There is a video of 3 bucket method that adds a second rinse bucket.

Yep, whilst I always refer to it as the tbm, in point of fact I always use a third bucket for wheels. I do wheels first as a rule, so using that bucket for the rest of the car is just a non starter :xyxthumbs:

Boy,, I pre spray my wheels with cleaner, let dwell, get the power washer with foam gun, cover while car and then go over the wheels/tires, then power wash the wheels and tires, then spray rest of car off, If I need to, at end of full wash tbm or even one (OH MY GOD FORBID-LOLOLOL) use the brushes to get any of the stubborn stuff off.

Not everyone has the luxury of a generator or a foam cannon (just purchased one) so they are left with using bucket.

I wash car first, then pour left over suds water into wheel bucket and go to town. Kinda my way to conserve water.

b4 I had the karcher I still did about the same, only had to use the brush at end of main wash,, i just used the hose instead of the karcher in the beginning. OH an my foam gun is the karcher one, not a big money ticket

I always use 3 buckets, like you stated one for wheels and tires, one for wash, and one for rinse.
