The owner of this beautiful 2009 BMW 335xi Coupe in Montego Blue contacted me about getting his newly acquired ride cleaned up. The individual wanted long lasting protection so a coating was the obvious choice for this job.

Exhaust Polishing: Chemical Guys Vintage Heavy Metal Polish via 000 Steel Wool

Engine Bay:
Engine Components: Zep Citrus Cleaner (4:1) with various brushes

Before Photos:

Typical BMW brake dust.

Engine Bay was so dirty.

During Photos:

As always I started with the wheels and tires.

The color change was almost immediate.

After the wheels, wheel wells and tires were cleaned it was time for a nice thick foam bath.

After the vehicle was foamed it was then rinsed and washed with 2BM. The vehicle was then dried and iron x was used for the first level of decontamination. The vehicle was then rinsed and dried. The second decontamination took place via a Nanoskin fine grade sponge with ONR used as clay lube. After the vehicle was fully decontaminated it was time to bring it out in the sun and see what we are dealing with.

Minor swirls were found throughout the vehicle.

I did a test spot on the trunk with HD Adapt on an Orange pad. I was happy with the level of correction I achieved for a 1 step and proceeded to do the rest of the vehicle.

Thanks for viewing and enjoy.

Beautiful work you really brought life back into that BMW keep up the great work

Beautiful work and stunning color and car! And the Dinan badge may mean he's out hunting M3's and 911's! And it's even faster now after your work.

All this talk about HD stuff i may need some (as if i really "need" more product).

Again, stunning results. Thanks for sharing it with us. :dblthumb2:

Awesome work and car!!!

You probably added 40 more horsepower.

Thanks for the kind words.

Outstanding work on that beautiful blue BMW!

Montego Blue was such a great color to work on. The paint was already in decent condition but now it just pops.

Looks good :applause:

Thanks

The vehicle was modified and tuned according to Dinan Stage 3. She was a rocket!

Looks great... funny at first I thought it was my old car that I had sold a couple of months back... Montego Blue 335Xi... not mine :) Did a great job on it though for sure.

As a BMW fanatic, I must say you really brought that paint back to life! Better than new

Probably not your old car unless you use to live in Canada. Thanks she was fun to work on.

I would have to agree. The paint has a lot more depth and gloss. The owner was very happy with the outcome. He initially just wanted a wash and some protection but I bet he is glad he went with the correction.
