Wow!!! Can you believe that? Last World Cup Champions got spanked!!! They were treated like a little red-headed step child!!! So much for them repeating if they play like this
 
Van persie header was spectacular. Go Greece, USA and England.
 
Sadly neither of the teams i root for are gonna win. ( usa anf mexico) but mexico played really good yesterday. Let's hope USA wins.

I still think the favorites are, my team (Brazil) Germany and the Netherlands.

Italy is my favorite, but realistically I think Brazil will win.

P/S: No offense but my US friend in Madison (WI) told me that World Cup is not the hot thing in US? Cause majority prefer the home grown American Football. Not sure how true it is but you guys could chime in on this.

Ah ok. Guess that will be clear. I know nothing about American Football, but yea I do follow NBA (although less interesting compared to those days), and the thing I am absolute on American is Boeing > Airbus.

Anyway, team USA has a good coach Jurgen Klinsmann, guess it is not all too bad if the players could play the strategy as planned.
 
Its getting larger here, more MLS clubs are being introduced (just got one here in Orlando! :xyxthumbs:) , but not nearly as large as it is over seas.

So which club you guys supported? Pardon my ignorance, but a quick check it says LA Galaxy won the most MLS Cup.

I support the Philadelphia Union.... They haven't had a great season but I'm not a front-runner, so I'm with them :dblthumb2:

Good spirit there... Support locales and hope that one day they will rise and shine.

Those front-runners and ship jumpers (just because some other team won) not really know what is sports and sportsmanship.
