I need a good paint cleaner that I can use with my rotary every 3 months to refresh the paint and reapply the wax/sealant. The paint has been compounded and polished so the paint cleaner doesn't need to have any abrasives or it could be lightly abrasive to correct the minor wash marring and swirls.

From what I read up here, DG 501 and Zaino AIO are highly rated but I am getting a good deal on Optimum Poli Seal. Is Poli Seal a good paint cleaner that can be topped up with any wax or sealant? Are there any others?

Optimum Poli-Seal is a very nice product. I've used it woth both a rotary and dual action polisher with stunning results. Optimum Poli-Seal is formulated with fine abrasives so it actually removes minor defects rather than hides them..

Optimum Poli-Seal can be topped with your favorite sealant or wax for added protection an shine.

Don't forget to give Optimum Spray Car Wax a try, you won't be disappointed!

Lime prime lite has always worked well for me, but it is the only one I've ever tried because of it.

While neither are billed as true paint cleaners, Klasse AIO and Poorboy's World Pro Polish will work well. Both are nonabrasive and do a great job prepping a surface for the LSP.

Auto Finesse Tripple is the best All In One products I've used in a long time. Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular is the best for prepping the surface in my opinion.

a few of my favorites

P21 Paint Cleanser
Sonax Premium Class Paint Cleanser
Ultima Paint Prep Plus

Detailers Prep Polish
Pinnacle Black Label Cleansing Polish.

I've used Zaino AIO, it's good for a one step "all in one", but for cleaning, I prefer the two I mentioned.

My favorite is Poorboys Polish with Sealant, very nice AIO, can be used in full sun, no trim staining, and can be topped with just about anything.

Could the level of aggressiveness be controlled of the AIO through which pad you choose? Generally speaking.

For a foam cutting pad, vs a foam polishing pad vs a foam waxing pad?

I would imagine so.

Griots paint prep works great and doesn't need to be applied by machine. Spray it on, massage into paint, rinse thoroughly.

But does anything cleanses the paint as well as DG 501 does?

I have grown to love DG501
Meguiars Cleaner wax is also really good.

Optimum Poli-seal is also a good cleaner if you want some correction toooooo
