Hey guys, this is my first post on the forums. So, my black Equinox got hit with hail a few weeks ago, and ended up costing $6800 in repairs. New hood, new roof, and tons of PDR. I get it back a couple of weeks ago, and the rails above the doors are scratched beyond belief. Take it back to the shop and they polish out the scratches, for the most part. Go to wash it, and there is overspray COVERING my wheels. Take it back for a third time, and they use a Nanoskin towel to clean them off. So, I'm in the middle of polishing this thing after a year of washes, and the body shop mistakes. Using a combo of M105 and D300 on a MF pad (thanks to Zach McGovern for the tips) and a GG 6" polisher for the first step, and D302 after that. Topped with Chemical Guys SS6 (which I'm starting to think is junk - water beading is average, at best.) There aren't any before pictures, but this shows how it looks in the sun. I'm loving the results so far. It was in pretty great shape to begin with (except for the rails), and it's looking amazing.
