Not to derail the thread but political correctness is leaking into sports too much for me. It seems every year its something else and this season is NO exception with the Redskins. Instead of finding out the moves each team is making and how they're lookin' we're going to hear about this first and foremost, its already happening and has been in the mix for a year or so already. Then there's the Michael Samm deal situation. Here's what it is, you can either play or you can't, period! An NFL team is a multi-million dollar business and is no place for a "social experiment", period and is why I said you can either play or not earlier. I also heard they're going to experiment with woman refs in the pre-season too, enough already! Finally the rule changes, seems to me you can only hit someone below the armpit and above the waistline, a graze is a penallty, forward motion is a penalty and the QB is completely off limits. The QB should just have pink flags you pull to indicate a tackle...pink flags wasn't an accidental choice in colors either, that's another thing.....nah, I'll save that one for another day!

No its true. There are to many people in this country that want to make everything soft. These people preaching that the Redskins is offensive have most likely never even watched a game of football. Then the tackling... Dont even get me started on that... Pretty soon its going to turn into flag football if you ask me. Rob Gronkowski had his knee taken out AGAIN after they implemented that tackling rule last year. Its all getting too soft. It pisses me off. Its supposed to be a manly sport where you and your fattest friends come over and drink copious amounts of beer and eat pretzels lol. If all these activest have it their way football will be played with a pink balloon and all the players will be gay and there will be no team names so no one can get offended. Score wont be kept because there will be no losers and the game will be co-ed. Its bullsh!t I cant stand all these activist that's main focus is them self and how they think the world should be. If it were up to me the only rule would be get the ball to the damn endzone before some one kills you lol aside from that steroids would be mandatory. We as fans deserve the best players science can create lol.

On a serious note it is bull how all these people have to come out of the woodwork who have never watched a game of football and their only focus is to change things. I dont see rallys of native americans flooding the streets in washington because the redskins name is offensive. I recently read a letter from a tribe how they are honored by the redskins name as its a form of recognition. Its total crap.
