I was checking out a web site and seen a sheepskin wash mitt which i figured was safe
to use but in the ad it said not advised for cars with black finishes. i would just like to know
if anyone else has herd this too, and would like to know which type of wash mitt is very safe to use.

The mitt must be garbage, the web page must be wrong, or the sheep must have had rocks for hair. I use a quality sheepskin wash mitt on my black BMW all the time with no swirls or marring. But, I can almost guarantee you it wasn't the mitt you were looking at.

What website is this???

the rag company. .

Check out these wash mitts! Autogeek doesn't carry a mitt that will harm your paint as long as you take care of it properly.

I have used the Gold Plush Microfiber, the Wookie fist, and a Merino wool mitt. I like the wookie the best. Good luck!

i alternate between a sheepskin mitt, grout sponge and microfiber wash mitt and with that said, pick up one of the megs microfiber wash mitts (only around $6). been using mine for a while now and it's been holding up very well....

Thanks for your replies. i will probably order one of those that were suggested. I was just surprised when they said not advised for black cars.
and i have 3 black cars so wanted to make sure i get the safest mitt

I used a sheepskin mitt last year (forgot the brand) and it was very soft but it did not last more than a season. The mitt slowly came apart.

I have a black car as well and I use a shmitt but I find the shmitt to marr the paint sometimes (really soft black paint)

Yellow White Interior Cleaning ShMITT <-- similar to this one but the photo does not show the other side of the mitt

Linked the wrong one. Didn't know a shmitt exist for the interior
