Your Other Car...

I typically pick up M205 from Advance Auto using coupon codes online. Polishing pads I generally get from Autogeek.

205 can also be had at Autozone and Harbor Freight...at least in my area.

My dad's black audi a6 avant gets the works usually. He likes the swirl free paint and knows how to properly wash and wax it but doesn't have time to correct it with his work since he travels a lot.

My mom's car gets the 1-step on her white audi A3 tdi. She doesn't care and just wants it to look good so a 1-step is perfect for her.

what's your 1 step product choice?

So is it safe to say that I might not have or need to do a correction, polish, wax/sealant but there's no way of getting out of at least a polish and protect?

Seems this would be an all in one?

or this 151? does it really work and do I apply with a porter cable?

Meg's Cleaner wax is a solid product, but the new White Wax surpasses it. Here's a comparison from the Meguiar's forum. See post #30.

My daily ('02 Infiniti Q45) has CQuartzUK, and gets regularly topped with Reload. It received a THOROUGH three step polish (M105\orange pads and D300\cutting, followed by M205\white pads, finished with Menzerna SF4500\black pads) first.

Right now the wife's daily ('05 Infiniti QX56) has Blackfire Wet Diamond, but once I finish polishing out the hood it's going to get coated as well. It's been polished over a few weekends - it's a ridiculous amount of surface area, and the clearcoat is ridiculously hard.

Between three kids under the age of 5, an 80-90 hour work week full time job, and the part time detailing, I don't have the time to baby them like I want. Thanks to the coating, SunJoe 2000psi pressure washer, foam lance, and leaf blower I can get the car washed in less than an hour.

I recently applied OC 2.0 to my truck and Tuf shine coating on my tires. Reduces my maintenance time significantly. In the process I made sure to brainwash the wife a bit so she now undertands what a 2BM is, can do an ONR wash or Waterless wash with MF towels. I also have her spotting swirls on cars she passes and made her afraid of car washes. I just started on her vehicle. I just did her tires and wheels which took me hours bc brake dust was rusted on her wheels. Got them spotless and applied OC 2.0 and Tuf Shine. Next, I'll be fixing rock chips, polishing and OC 2.0, followed by Tuf Shine black restore for all the trim. This should cut down on wash times/maintenance even more so, as I will not miss dressing the trim, scrubbing wheels, tires etc.
This is my approach.
