Can you imagine this? Last week in Japan some 20,000 brand new Toyotas ready for export were covered in soot as a result of an incident at a neighbouring factory. Toyota's solution - get 5,000 factory workers to clean them (4 each). That's a lot of training, a lot of products and a lot of supervision required!
What a shame, all those new cars damaged before they even left the factory yard. I'm sure that they will take great care in cleaning them, but I wonder how much attention they'll give to the resulting swirls and little scratches, or to the thickness of the clear coat? I wouldn't be keen to buy one...
