Interior help!

Last time I posted some pictures of the interior of the car in which I was going to try to remove the stains that was left when they spilled coffee in the car. I have been using CG fabric shampoo and I let if soak there for about a minute, I use the little green machine to extract the water out in which did some of the work. I started to notice that when I scrub some of the fibers on the side of the seat started to peel up even thou I was using a soft brush! Can some one please give me an advice on what can I do in order to remove these stains, I am posting pictures of the results as of today. I tried using as well CG lightning fast extractor, CG Fabric shampoo. What can I do to remove the remaining stains and as well extract the water properly since the seats are still wet. I am afraid that I can start to peel off the fibers.

Most of the products you are using are exactly the same chemical, just labelled differently lol
 
What you are seeing is re-wicking of the stain.

When you used the extractor to remove the stain you injected water down into the fabric and foam of the seat. While you had removed some of the stain from the surface you also had pushed and then pulled some of the stain from the seat foam as well.

When the seat and foam started to dry the stain then reappears as it seeps back up to the surface.

My suggestion is to now do just a surface cleaning of those stains to keep them to a minimum. If you add more water you will just cause more of the stain to be lifted from the foam and the cycle will continue.

Use folex or and cleaner od that kind and then tamp out the stain with a microfiber towel.

You can get Folex at Home Depot, Lowes, Target, WalMart...try some. Rub it in with your fingertips and wipe it dry with a MF towel--as Evan suggested try to work the surface rather than extracting up more dirt from down in the foam.

Or, do what you're doing a bunch more times until you extract all the dirt from the foam and the upholstery is clean.
 
There is no way that stain came form coffee. Step one of attacking a stain is identification. Some stains will set if you go at them incorrectly.
 
steam and folex are the best Ive found for stains.. I hardly ever extract because of bringing up other junk...
 
+1 on that NOT being Coffee.

Your Mom would have scalded herself a dozen times spilling coffee in those locations on the seat pictured.

I suggest spraying LINE-X on the entire interior, so it can easily be power washed two months from now.


You should also get her a Sippy Cup, while you are at it.

I got some folex today from Home Depot, simple white bottle and purple letters. I will try it tomorrow since it is sunset here

One minute is not enough time for your product to work. at least a good 5 to 7mn is the time given for a product to clean better.

another way it before you use anything in all the seat. try spotting. you can find at a regular carpet cleaning supply store, a descent spotter. they comein different stain categories.

if you know for sure that is coffee, then get a good coffee stain product
most of the spotter works like this:

pre-treath the area with few drops, let it seat for a couple of minutes, grab a paper towel, or any terry towel, and try to absorb it with it, do not use a brush this will make it bigger or worse

if you have an extractor,follow with the extractor, this will help you remove the stains much better
 
Remember that one of the basic`s steps for any interior extraction, is to give a nice vacuum pass. some guys give a really fast vacuum pass.

you have to pick all the dry soil / the dwell time for your products to work is not 1mn. or 2
at least give a good 5mn, this will help your quemical to work better, the next step is crucial, hand brush, or if you have a machine to do it,better.

by brushing you will help remove stains better, the final step for sure is your Hott water extractor
